This is a cozy and charming local favorite open for lunch and tea Wednesday through Saturday from 1pm to 8pm beginning June 1st.
Beloved by longtime guests and treasured as a hidden gem by those just discovering us, our Tea Room offers a warm, intimate setting for lunch, tea, and special celebrations.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with beautiful china place settings, delicate tea cups, and baskets of freshly baked scones and seasonal breads — the perfect complement to a relaxing cup of tea and a made-from-scratch meal.
Our menu features traditional recipes unique to The Merrillville Tea Room, prepared in-house and made fresh to order. Whether you’re gathering with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon, every detail is designed to make your visit feel memorable.
Reservations will be honored, but are not required.
